Vietnam to host ASEAN Tourism Forum 2009

Vietnam will hold the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2009 (ATF) and the Travex Tourism Fair from January 5-12, 2009, which will provide a platform for Vietnam to promote its images to global investors and the international community at large.
The opening ceremony for the ATF will be launched at the National Convention Centre.

Eight ATF sub-committees have been established and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has also set up a steering committee and an organizing board for both events.

The ATF will include meetings between tourism working parties, ASEAN tourism agencies, and meetings between ASEAN tourist ministers and their partners.

Meanwhile, the Travex Fair will be held at the Giang Vo Exhibition Centre with some 450 stands displaying a wide range of products from ASEAN countries.
