If time permits, we go out for a walk around the center area of Hanoi including the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem lake, the Opera House… as an introduction of Vietnam.

Day 02. Hanoi City tour - Halong (B/L/D)
Morning sightseeing to most of the city’s outstanding historical and cultural sites such as: The complex of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial sites, the One-pillar Pagoda and The Temple of Literature for understanding about the two most popular religions in Vietnam (Buddhism and Confucianism).
Afternoon, drive through the Northern countryside to Halong Bay, view the rural scenery en route. Arrive in Halong city and check in the hotel in late afternoon. Overnight in Halong Bay.
Day 03. Halong Boat cruise - Hanoi (B/L)
Boarding at 07.30 and set sail to the sea. Enjoy a cruise around the World Heritage Site of Halong bay, famous with thousands of Rock formations jutting out from emerald water. Drop in Thien Cung Cave beautifully decorated by thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. Sea food lunch on boat.
Transfer back to Hanoi in the afternoon with a stop to visit a pottery work shop in Dong Trieu.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 04. Hanoi - Danang - Hoian (B/L)
Flight to Danang. Visit Cham sculpture museum, sightseeing to China Beach and Marble Mountain, before proceeding to Hoian.
On foot to explore Hoian town, visit Hoian museum, old merchants’ house, assembly hall, Japanese covered Bridge… walking along the bank of the lively Thu Bon River, once prosperous and famous as a trading port.Overnight in Hoian.
Day 05. Hoian - Hue (B)
Transfer overland northwards to Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Take some stops along the way for “bird eyed” view and photogenic scenery.
Afternoon, sightseeing of Hue to the Ancient Imperial Citadel, a complex of palaces and temples… built from early 19th Century by the latest feudal dynasty of Vietnam for which Hue was recognized as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
Later on, we enjoy a leisure boat-trip along the scenic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 06. Hue - Saigon (B)
Take a morning flight to Saigon.
Then go on a sightseeing tour of the city to the Former Presidential Palace, War Remnant Museum, Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral - two of the city's colonial-style monument.
Continue to Saigon's China Town famous with Binh Tay market and Thien Hau pagoda featuring of Chinese community living oversea. Back to downtown of Saigon to enjoy a walk passing Lam Son square, Opera House, City hall… to close the day. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 07. Saigon - Tayninh - Cuchi (B)
A day excursion to Tayninh and Cuchi. Drive westwards to Tayninh to visit the famous Cao Dai Temple and attend the noon service of the bizarre Cao Dai sect - an extraordinary mix of all the world's great religions, including Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam. Proceed to Cuchi to visit the basement of Vietnamese Army famous with a system of tunnels for understanding how our people lived, struggled and won the war. Return to Saigon in late afternoon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 08. Saigon - Mekong delta - Boat cruise, home stay (B)
Leaving Saigon by road for Mekong delta. On boat along rivers and canals to explore the heart of Mekong delta famous with farm houses, orchard gardens and unique lifestyle.
Dinner and home stay in local house on An Binh Island near Vinhlong.
Day 09. Mekong delta (Vinhlong) - Chaudoc (B)
Continue your exploration of An Binh island. Rowing, walking to visit some ancient houses, fruit gardens, while proceeding to Vinhlong town. Again on the road from Vinhlong to Chaudoc, near Cambodia border. Then enjoy another boat trip along Mekong River to visit a floating village, where local people raise fishes in cages for export, on to a Cham village to see local life. Stay overnight in Chaudoc.
Day 10. Chaudoc - Phnom Penh
(B)
Take morning high speed boat up stream Mekong river to enjoy the immense scenery of Mekong delta, cross the border and heading to Phnom Penh and arrive by noon time. Meeting with local guide at the boat station, transfer to hotel and check in.
Afternoon tour in Phnom Penh includes the National Museum, Royal Palace and Wat Phnom.
Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 11. Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B)
Morning flight to Siem Reap. Meeting at the airport and direct transfer to visit to the Southern Gate of Angkor Thum, famous Bayon complex, Phimean Akas Temple, Elephant and Leper King Terraces. Back to hotel for check in.
In the afternoon visit to Angkor Wat Temple and watch sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hill. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12. Siem Reap (B)
Full day sightseeing of Siem Reap to Pre Rup, Mebon, Tasom, Nea Poan and Preah Khan Temples. Lunch in local restaurant.
In the after noon, visit to Thommanun, Chaosay Tevoda Temples Spean Thma (ancient bridge), Takeo, famous Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdei Temples, Terraces of Sras Srang and Prasat Kravan. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.
