Thanh Hoa to complete Ho dynasty citadel profile for UNESCO recognition

Thanh Hoa provincial Department of Culture and Information said it has basically completed a scientific profile proposing the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognize the Ho dynasty citadel as a world cultural heritage.
According to UNESCO’s requests, the Management Board for Ho dynasty citadel relic, under Thanh Hoa Department of Culture and Information, has built a library and a scientific profile of 132 books and magazines about the Ho dynasty’s citadel; 18 historical relic sites and 7 plans and projects covering transportation, tourism and mining in Vinh Loc district which are related to the Ho dynasty citadel; 248 drawings and one map detailing the actual state of the relic site; and maps to establish the exact position of the proposed property.
In the near future, the scientific profile of the Ho dynasty relics will be supplemented and completed for submission to appropriate authorities.
In addition, Thanh Hoa provincial Department of Culture and Information has announced a decision of the chairman of the provincial People’s Committee establishing a Management Board for the Ho dynasty citadel relics. Its headquarters is at the Ho dynasty citadel relic site in Xuan Giai village, Vinh Tien commune, Vinh Loc district.
The board is responsible for managing, preserving and promoting the value of the relics, guiding festivals and tourist activities at relic sites, and further completing the profile for UNESCO recognition as a world cultural heritage.
