The Da Gos Gongs Festival will open in Madagui tourist area of Cat Tien National Park from April 26 to May 1 to mark the Liberation Day (April 30) and International Labour Day (May 1).
During the festival, traditional art performances and sports of the ethnic minorities in Da Huoai Commune will be held on April 26-27. Another cultural exchange between the ethnic minorities of Da Huoai, Bao Lam, and Don Duong communes will take place on April 30 and May 1.
Gong performances, sports and local food are expected to leave tourists with a deep impression of the Central Highlands.
Madagui forest area, which is 152km away from HCMC, 148km from Dalat City and 30km from Bao Loc Town, covers 587.6ha and part of Cat Tien National Park recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve zone.
